Using it for hiking and fishing and building my bug out kit absolutely perfect plenty of pockets and places to hang stuff from don't have a water bottle to test out the bottle holder but it looks fairly solid and most of all it doesn't look or feel cheap.
Looks the part . I have packed it . And will be better than carrying a back pack. Especially with the water pouch.
I purchased this bag for a 3-week project to carry an assortment of small items around. The bag was comfortable to wear, held up easily, and I think I'll find uses for it for years to come. I have no complaint with most of the materials. The construction isn't perfect, but I see no lamentable flaws. The stitching could be sturdier, but for the price of the bag it's reasonable quality. The one concern I have is the clasp on the waist strap. I'd have more confidence in it if it were some sort of heavier metal hardware.
I've been actively hiking most of my long life. A long-ago lower back injury came back to haunt me about 8 yrs ago, and it's become increasingly difficult to hike due to the weight of a pack(needing to 'take a load off' every 10 mins was depressing and frustrating). Saw this type of bag; after research decided on this one. It's perfect for hiking! No more weight compressing my lower vertebae, and slung on my hips it doesn't bother my sciatica. Has more than enough room to carry a meal and some basic supplies. Wish I'd heard of this bag years ago.
This is actually a top product. The fabric is tough and doesn't feel cheap. There are many pockets and its very comfortable to wear, the main pouch might surprise you in size. In the future I may replace the leg strap with an elastic one. The current leg strap is too tight if its up high, then as you move around it slips down towards your knee and becomes loose, but it comes off just like a belt so its easy to replace and optional to wear. The only complaint I have is that I found it difficult to use with one hand, and reaching around with the other hand is awkward. But if you're looking for a drop pouch, I'm happy with this one.
